Pharmacist - Critical Need

Job Type: Contract (13-16 Weeks, Extension Possible)
Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | 40 Hours/Week

Job Summary

We are hiring a licensed Pharmacist to support specialty and oncology infusion pharmacy operations in a clinical setting. This role involves medication verification, clinical support, and oversight of pharmacy technicians in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Review and verify medication orders using Epic
Perform final product verification for compounded medications
Provide drug information and clinical support to healthcare teams
Supervise and support pharmacy technicians
Ensure compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards

Work Setting

Oncology / Infusion Pharmacy
Advanced Urgent Care (on-site)
Ambulatory Surgery Center (on-site)

Requirements

Active Washington (WA) Pharmacist License
Experience in hospital or clinical pharmacy setting
Oncology or infusion pharmacy experience
Familiarity with Epic and Pyxis systems
Knowledge of USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines
