Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions by evaluating their physical limitations and identifying their specific goals.
• Manage a caseload of patients, typically seeing one individual per hour, allowing for focused and personalized treatment sessions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques aimed at maximizing patients' recovery.
• Provide cost-effective treatment solutions that not only enhance patients' range of motion but also minimize reliance on medications and surgical interventions.
• Design and recommend customized fitness and wellness programs to promote an overall healthier lifestyle for patients.
• Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic interventions, ensuring each patient receives care rooted in proven methodologies.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey, helping them overcome obstacles and achieve their rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care, communicating effectively about treatment outcomes and progress.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions and care provided, utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems for efficiency.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with adult patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, including those recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will play a vital role in helping them regain their mobility and independence, facilitating their journey toward functional recovery.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, with no disciplinary history against the license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid foundation in developing personalized exercise protocols.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records, particularly the WebPT platform, is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is highly desirable, providing you with a robust understanding of this specific patient demographic.

Compensation and Benefits
