Administrative Assistant for Financial Advisor

We are seeking a dynamic Administrative Assistant to join our team, supporting one of our financial advisors in delivering exceptional service to our clients. If you possess an entrepreneurial spirit, excellent writing skills, enjoy working with people, and have a solid background in Microsoft Office, we want to hear from you.  We are looking for someone who wants to grow their career in finance.  Ideal applicant should be reliable, want to work hard and achieve success.  Applicants who have a history of calling in sick frequently or abusing vacation time/PTO need not apply.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to our financial advisor, including scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.
  • Assist in marketing efforts by drafting engaging content for newsletters, social media posts, and client communications.
  • Experience with Photoshop or Canva is a plus.
  • Utilize financial planning software to input data, generate reports, and assist in creating financial plans for clients.
  • Maintain organized records and files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Pay could shift upward if applicant is successful in the following areas:

  • Direct client interaction
  • Handling confidential financial information
  • Custodian paperwork familiarity
  • CRM experience (Redtail, Wealthbox, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Calendar management for advisors
  • Meeting prep and follow-up
  • Insurance/licensing support
  • Longevity/reliability

Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work well with others and provide excellent customer service.
  • Interest in the field of finance and investing.
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role is preferred.
