Job Title: Director, Workday Payroll

Location: Jupiter, FL

Compensation: 150K to 220K base + Bonus

Overview

We are seeking a senior payroll leader to oversee payroll operations within a complex, multi-state organization. This role owns payroll delivery, system optimization, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate brings deep Workday Payroll expertise and a strong background managing large payroll functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end payroll operations across a multi-state environment

• Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely payroll processing

• Own and optimize the Workday Payroll system

• Identify and implement process improvements

• Manage and develop a payroll team

• Partner with HR and Finance to align payroll operations

• Oversee audits, compliance, and risk mitigation

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field

• 10+ years of payroll experience

• 5+ years managing payroll teams

• Hands-on experience with Workday Payroll

• Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll and tax compliance

• Experience with payroll system optimization or transformation

• Strong leadership and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare or hospital systems

• Master’s degree

• CPP or Workday Payroll certification

• Experience supporting large or high-growth organizations
