** WORK SCHEDULE:

Initial Schedule

Monday – Friday

• Monday & Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Potential Schedule Change After 4 Weeks

Sunday – Thursday

• Sunday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Monday & Wednesday: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM

Mandatory overtime is required and discussed during interviews.

Pay Rate: $23.00/hr. -$26.00/hr.

Responsibilities:

• This position supports a highly automated pharmacy fulfillment operation responsible for accurately filling, packaging, and distributing prescription medications in a high-volume production environment.
• The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, quality-focused, and capable of maintaining productivity and accuracy while performing repetitive tasks.
• Fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules
• Read and follow computer-generated fulfillment instructions
• Verify medication strength, quantity, and product selection
• Perform accurate medication counting and calculations
• Replenish automated dispensing cells
• Scan product barcodes using handheld scanners
• Enter expiration dates and lot information
• Perform quality checks on medications
• Conduct weekly cycle counts
• Audit inventory levels and storage locations
• Investigate inventory discrepancies
• Assist with root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Prepare specialty prescriptions
• Follow cold chain handling and packaging procedures
• Ensure compliance with product-specific requirements

Job Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Active California Pharmacy Technician License
• Minimum 1 year of Pharmacy Technician experience
• Retail Pharmacy
• Mail Order Pharmacy
• Specialty Pharmacy
• Central Fill Pharmacy
• Note: Externships, clinical rotations, and training programs do not count toward the required experience.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Preferred Qualifications : PTCB National Certification
• Automated fulfillment experience
• Inventory control experience
• High-volume pharmacy production experience
