POSITION SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Director, Client Delivery, the Senior Project Manager serves as a strategic leader responsible for the successful delivery of eDiscovery services and project management solutions across a portfolio of client matters. This role owns the end-to-end execution of complex engagements across the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM), while also mentoring a pod of Project Managers (PMs) and Associate Project Managers (APMs).

Senior Project Managers act as trusted advisors to clients, providing consultative guidance on eDiscovery strategy, workflow design, and technology adoption. They ensure the successful execution of matters while driving operational excellence, revenue growth, and long-term client relationships.

The SPM collaborates closely with cross-functional teams - including operations, forensics, analytics, and review services - to deliver scalable, defensible, and cost-effective solutions for clients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

In this role, a Senior Project Manager will:

• Serve as the primary strategic advisor to clients on eDiscovery workflows, technology, and best practices.
\n
• Lead complex engagements across multiple clients, ensuring defensible and efficient processes.
\n
• Provide consultative guidance on production planning, review workflows, analytics strategies.
\n
• Develop trusted relationships with legal teams, litigation support professionals, and internal stakeholders.
\n
• Identify opportunities to expand service offerings and support account growth and revenue generation.
\n
• Partner with internal leadership to ensure successful delivery of services across client portfolios.
\n
• Own the delivery of complex and high-visibility eDiscovery matters.
\n
• Ensure matters are executed on time, on budget, and in alignment with client objectives.
\n
• Anticipate risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
\n
• Design and oversee project plans, workflows, and resourcing strategies.
\n
• Maintain executive-level visibility into matter status, risks, and deliverables.
\n
• Lead, mentor, and support a pod of Project Managers and Associate Project Managers.
\n
• Provide guidance on project strategy, workflow execution, and client engagement.
\n
• Ensure consistency in project management standards and best practices across pod matters.
\n
• Train junior team members on Cimplifi technologies, workflows, and operational standards.
\n
• Support the Director, Client Delivery with escalations and strategic client initiatives.
\n
• Drive process improvement, collaboration, and operational innovation across the project management organization.
\n
• Consult with cross-functional teams to deliver customized solutions and scalable workflows.
\n
• Contribute to the evolution of best practices, technology adoption, and service delivery standards.
\n
• Ensure consistent application of standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all matters.
\n
• Ability to manage multiple high priority matters simultaneously.
\n
• Flexibility to work extended hours as required to meet client deadlines; workloads may average 50+ hours per week.
\n
• Occasional travel may be required.
\n

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

Required:

\n
• 3 additional years of legal industry experience
\n
• 5+ years of eDiscovery experience in a service provider, consulting, or law firm environment
\n
• Extensive experience with Relativity or comparable eDiscovery platforms
\n
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex, high-value eDiscovery matters
\n
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills
\n
• Advanced understanding of eDiscovery analytics and review workflows
\n
• Bachelor’s degree required
\n

Preferred:

\n
• Juris Doctorate (JD) or LLM
\n
• Experience advising AmLaw firms or enterprise legal departments
\n

Compensation is commensurate with experience and may include performance-based incentives aligned with annual goals established during the performance review process.
