POSITION SUMMARY

\n

Under the direct supervision of the Director of Project Management, the Senior Project Manager successfully manages their eDiscovery matters while also leading and supporting their pod of Project Managers and Associate Project Managers to success. All Senior Project Managers at Cimplifi aim to drive an exceptional client experience through exemplary responsiveness, a consultative approach and adoption of Cimplifi technologies and best practice workflows. This position requires eDiscovery proficiency, extensive client experience, and strong leadership skills.

Location Requirement: This role supports West Coast clients; therefore, candidates must be located within the Western United States (Pacific or Mountain time zones).

\n

\n

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

\n

In this role, a Senior Project Manager:

\n

\n
• Leads and mentors all other project managers in a pod.
\n
• Handles the successful delivery of the Cimplifi project management offering to all pod clients.
\n
• Successfully manages complex matters on time and on budget while ensuring other matters managed by the pod are on track.
\n
• Consults with other teams throughout the company to ensure client requests and deadlines are managed with custom or best practice solutions.
\n
• Has savvy understanding of all tools and products Cimplifi offers – including analytics and review workflows.
\n
• Expert in eDiscovery with 5+ years in industry and direct experience in eDiscovery review tools.
\n
• Committed to excellence in client delivery.
\n
• Is enthusiastic about driving process improvement, collaboration, and innovations as part of a cross-functional team.
\n
• Owns the delivery of complex and high-visibility eDiscovery matters.
\n
• Designs and oversees project plans, workflows, and resourcing strategies.
\n
• Leads, mentors, and supports a pod of Project Managers and Associate Project Managers.
\n
• Provides guidance on project strategy, workflow execution, and client engagement.
\n
• Ensures consistency in project management standards and best practices across supported matters.
\n
• Occasional travel.
\n
• Likely to average 50+ hour weeks.
\n

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED

\n

\n
• Bachelor’s degree required.
\n
• Juris Doctorate (JD) or LLM preferred.
\n
• Expert in eDiscovery tools and workflows.
\n
• Strong client-service orientations.
\n
• Ability to master company’s various computer systems.
\n
• 5+ years’ experience as an eDiscovery PM at a service provider or eDiscovery PM/staff attorney at a law firm.
