Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the step-down unit (PCU/SDU) as part of a collaborative team.
- Accurately interpret ECG rhythms and manage patient care during life-threatening emergencies.
- Monitor patient status, respond to changes in condition, and escalate as needed to the multidisciplinary team.
- Supervise and delegate care responsibilities to ancillary personnel in accordance with scope of practice.
- This position is represented by CNA and requires coordination with CNAs and other support staff to ensure safe, effective care.

Requirements
- Active registered nurse license (California)
- Experience in a step-down unit (SDU) or progressive care unit (PCU) preferred
- Ability to interpret ECG rhythms and respond to cardiac emergencies
- Demonstrated capacity to supervise/coordinate care with CNAs and other assistive personnel
- Availability to work nights; 12-hour shifts (3x12)
