Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and impact of clients' mood disorders.

• Develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans that align with each client's unique goals and therapeutic preferences.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in sessions.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitor client progress, adjusting treatment plans to optimize outcomes based on evidence and feedback.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional training and development, as well as case consultations and team meetings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will work primarily with individuals experiencing mood disorders, particularly depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our client base includes a diverse array of individuals, including those from marginalized communities, domestic abuse victims, refugees, and the homeless population. This role requires an empathetic approach to therapy, focusing on building trust and creating a safe space for clients to explore their emotions and experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 90,000 annually, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
