Location/Workplace Type: Remote in Texas Join Our Team as an Automation Sales Manager: Are you ready to drive innovation and growth in the world of automation? In this role, you’ll own the entire sales cycle—from generating leads to closing deals—within your assigned territory. You’ll craft and execute strategic sales plans that not only meet your personal goals but also fuel our company’s vision of expanding market presence. What You Get to Do: Drive sales of automation equipment and integrated systems, delivering innovative solutions that boost productivity and reduce costs. Build and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and technical teams, acting as a trusted advisor. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed revenue goals and expand market share. Identify and qualify new opportunities through networking, referrals, and proactive outreach. Craft compelling proposals and pricing strategies that align with customer needs and company objectives. Maintain accurate sales forecasts and project updates in CRM systems to ensure transparency and efficiency. Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences and support marketing initiatives. Stay current on industry trends and participate in educational programs to enhance expertise Performs other duties as assigned, which are reasonably related to the scope of the position and necessary for business operations. What You Bring to the Team: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred. Expect up to 50–60% travel to customer sites (typically 1–2 nights away) throughout the State of Texas. Valid driver’s license required. 5+ years driving sales of automation systems, turnkey solutions, or capital equipment in manufacturing environments. 5+ years of proven success promoting technical solutions that solve real customer challenges. 5+ years experience managing multi-state territories and growing new or existing markets. 2+ years of hands‑on experience leveraging tools like Salesforce or equivalent to manage pipelines, track opportunities, and drive data‑driven sales strategies. Physical Requirements: The physical demands listed below represent essential functions of this role. Frequent use of hands to operate tools, controls, and equipment; occasional positioning of self to access low or elevated areas. Regular lifting and moving of up to 25 lbs., frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs., and occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs. Visual requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions: The conditions described below represent the typical environment for this role. Position is based in a fabrication shop/ requires travel to manufacturing plants with hands‑on involvement and oversight responsibilities.
