Mental Health Therapist

Ascend Mental Health, LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable full-time Mental Health Therapist to join our growing outpatient team. This is an ideal opportunity for an LMSW or LGPC who wants strong supervision, meaningful clinical work, and room to grow in a supportive, quality-focused practice. You will provide individual, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents, and adults using trauma-informed, person-centered care. Our clinicians work in a hybrid model, with a mix of in-office and telehealth services based on client and program needs. Responsibilities: Conduct biopsychosocial assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapy services Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation of sessions Collaborate with families, schools, care coordinators, and other providers when appropriate Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and professional development Maintain a caseload while meeting quality expectations Follow ethical, legal, payer, and agency standards for care and documentation Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral-health field Active Maryland LMSW or LGPC license required Interest in working with children, adolescents, and/or adults in an outpatient setting Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Commitment to culturally responsive, strengths-based care Reliable transportation and ability to provide services in office, via telehealth, and occasionally in the community or school setting What we offer: Clinical supervision and professional development support Administrative support Flexible hybrid work structure Opportunity to build clinical skills and grow within a behavioral-health organization Ascend Mental Health is an equal-opportunity employer.
