The primary role of the BOA is to provide administrative support to a financial advisor or a team of multiple financial advisors. Support Offered Comprehensive 6‑month training with an experienced peer to help mentor you A wide support network that extends from your branch office to your region to the home office Independent work with a large team backing you every step of the way Key Duties Deliver exceptional personalized service to ensure clients feel understood and informed Take an active role in the annual business planning process to assist in developing strategies for the upcoming year Actively listen for situations in clients’ lives that may indicate a need for additional services Drive marketing activities such as planning and executing events Skills & Competencies Analytical Thinking Attention to Detail Adaptability Conversational Skills Digital Tool Utilization Team Collaboration Role Requirements Client Service : Provide exceptional service to clients via inbound and outbound calls, email, and in‑person interactions. Respond to inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure an exceptional experience. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral sources, and internal client support team members. Account Management : Learn and understand the financial services industry. Handle account opening, account transfers and other requests at the direction of the financial advisor. Process account transactions, prepare documentation, and maintain accurate client records. Administrative & Operational Support : Work independently at the direction of the financial advisor. Manage appointments, prepare materials for client meetings, handle correspondence, and support marketing initiatives. Streamline processes by updating SOPs and strategically executing the branch business plan. Technology : Demonstrate strong computer literacy and a willingness to learn new technology and programs such as MoneyGuide, Salesforce, Microsoft Office products, and other firm‑provided software.
