Residential Specialist - Shift 2 | Residential Maternal Recovery Program

Job Purpose:The Residential Specialist works cooperatively to assist homeless individuals to access services and benefits to overcome their homelessness. The Residential Specialist will work directly with participants daily to maintain the house and ensure program standards are being met. The Resident Specialist is responsible for always maintaining integrity. All duties will be performed in a courteous manner, allowing participants and staff to maintain a healthy sense of self-worth while maintaining a safe and sober environment.Key Responsibilities:Advocates in the client’s best interestAssesses needs and develops a plan to meet those needsCompletes required agency, funding, legal, statistical and fiscal documentation in an accurate and timely mannerThe ability to comply with the regulations requiring a workplace of dignity and respect and equal employment opportunity compliance.The ability to work collaboratively with others and to accept constructive criticism from supervisors and managers.Willingness to abide by the company’s published rules and regulationsUnder the supervision of the Director, ensures that the environment is safe and residents are adhering to house rules, program policies and regulationsProvides security/reception servicesMakes hourly observation rounds and documents in communication bookRequired Education:High School Diploma or GED required.Required Experience:At least one year work experience in a residential program and/or human services-related field.
