Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy public transit location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. You will also support riders and staff through strong customer service and communication while bringing a caring, reliable approach, teamwork, agility, innovation, and integrity to every shift. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.67 / Hour Job Schedule: Sat: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Sun: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM. What You'll Do: Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location. Respond to incidents, service calls, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of transit facilities, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and identify maintenance, access control, and/or security-related concerns. Monitor entrances, waiting areas, and high-traffic public spaces, assisting with access control, crowd management, and direction for passengers and visitors. Support daily operations by communicating with site contacts, assisting during disruptions or emergencies, and following post orders related to transit operations and public interaction. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
