As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Inspector in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour Job Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and or appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location. Respond to incidents, operational disruptions, and or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner while communicating relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and or potential policy violations. Monitor entry and exit activity for employees, visitors, and or drivers, verify authorized access as directed by site procedures, and document relevant observations and incidents. Support shipping and receiving operations by observing high‑traffic areas, reporting hazards, disturbances, and or suspicious activity, and completing required security‑related reports accurately and on time. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
