Job Description As a Security Officer Incident Prevention Patrol in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $20.70 / Hour Job Schedule Day: Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control activities, and other security‑related duties appropriate to a financial services location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report observations according to site protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, office areas, entrances, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and assist with visitor processing and/or directional support in accordance with location procedures. Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including communicating with site contacts and/or first responders and documenting incident details accurately. Minimum Requirements Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
