In this unarmed role, you will support access awareness, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and bring a reliable, caring, and integrity-driven approach through teamwork and innovation. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $20.08 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed, Thur, Fri 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access control practices, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with local contacts and/or public agencies as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, parking areas, roadways, public spaces, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns. Monitor entrances, restricted areas, and credential checkpoints, reporting unusual activity and assisting with visitor, employee, and contractor directions and questions. Support daily operations by preparing incident reports, maintaining awareness of site conditions, and following Allied Universal and client‑directed security‑related policies and procedures. Minimum Requirements Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
