Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.98 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed07:00 AM - 03:00 PMThu07:00 AM - 03:00 PMFri07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSat07:00 AM - 03:00 PMSun07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the location. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or operational disruptions in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, warehouse spaces, trailer lots, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and support access control processes for personnel, vendors, and delivery traffic. Support shipping and receiving operations by observing dock activity, noting damaged gates, doors, and/or fencing, and communicating maintenance or security-related issues according to site procedures. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
