Position Details Title: Security Officer Patrol and Badging Location: Durham, NC Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour Job Schedule: Saturday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Sunday 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM Responsibilities Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related protocols, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including hallways, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor entrances and common areas for security-related concerns, assist with directions and general inquiries, and report maintenance, access, and policy-related issues. Support a professional healthcare environment by observing and reporting suspicious behavior, assisting with de‑escalation when appropriate, and following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting procedures. Minimum Requirements Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
