Supply Chain Operations Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the supply chain and logistics industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Operations Specialist to join their team. As a Supply Chain Operations Specialist, you will be an integral part of the operations department supporting various teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Supply Chain Operations Specialist

Location: Eagan, MN

Pay Rate: $23.00/hour

Position Type: 3-Month Contract-to-Hire

Shift: Monday - Friday; 8:00AM - 4:30PM

What's the Job?

• Perform complex support tasks within the supply chain or operations, including analyzing operational reports and interfacing with carriers on requirements.
• Ensure accuracy of documents and data processing, utilizing knowledge of customers, carriers, and procedures.
• Identify operational or service concerns through data analysis and collaborate with relevant groups to resolve issues.
• Track orders and shipments, including domestic and international operations, and assist with tracing as needed.
• Prepare and analyze operational reports, presenting insights to team members and supervisors.

What's Needed?

• HS/GED Completion.
• Experience communicating with carriers - airline, shipping, truck & related carriers.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to address complex customer and carrier inquiries.
• Ability to work with databases, logs, and various software systems.
• Knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures.
• Ability to develop and maintain critical relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
