Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations in Sunnyvale, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and screening activities. You will engage with customers and team members, respond to concerns, and use technology to document observations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, shoppers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall areas, including sales floors, entrances, loading areas, parking facilities, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help identify and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Assist with directing visitors, supporting loss prevention awareness, and documenting incidents and patrol observations in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
