Job Description As a Security Officer Badge Control in Columbia, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a public service location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $17.95 / Hour Job Schedule Daytime: Tue 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM, Fri 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 05:45 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting observations and sharing information with appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, remaining aware of site conditions and reporting unusual activity or maintenance concerns. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
