CU*Answers is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Data Center Operator to join our Operations team. In this role, you'll help keep mission-critical systems running by completing daily processing tasks, monitoring system activity, supporting credit union clients, and ensuring operational accuracy. This is an in-office position only located in Grand Rapids, MI.

What You'll Do

• Perform daily data center processing and scheduled system operations.
• Monitor system activity, online subsystems, and automated job processing.
• Confirm end-of-day and beginning-of-day processing for multiple credit unions.
• Respond to questions from clients and internal teams while providing exceptional support.
• Process incoming data from external sources and assist with media retention and business continuity activities.
• Prepare and coordinate UPS shipments for credit unions.
• Work closely with teammates across multiple shifts to ensure smooth 24/7 operations.
• Follow established procedures, security protocols, and quality standards.
• Assist with additional operational projects and responsibilities as needed.

What You Bring

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in computer operations, IT operations, or a similar office environment preferred.
• Experience with IBM i (Power Systems) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to learn new systems and follow documented procedures.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work weekends, holidays, overtime, or varying shifts when business needs require.
• Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.
