Position Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment.
• Establish and maintain positive classroom expectations and routines.
• Implement state-approved curriculum and lesson plans.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet each child's developmental needs and learning style.
• Encourage learning through hands-on activities, play, music, storytelling, and exploration.
• Support children's academic, social, emotional, physical, and spiritual growth.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow team members.
• Observe, document, and communicate children's progress with parents.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom.
• Ensure children's health, safety, and well-being at all times.
• Follow all Texas Child Care Licensing health, safety, and sanitation requirements.
• Collaborate with leadership and fellow teachers to provide an excellent learning experience.
• Manage classroom materials and maintain classroom inventory.

Qualifications

We're looking for team members who have:

• High School Diploma or GED (required)
• Ability to meet Texas Child Care Licensing and/or accreditation requirements
• A genuine love for children and a passion for early childhood education
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility with scheduling
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Pediatric CPR & First Aid Certification preferred (or willingness to obtain during the hiring process

Schedule

• Full-Time and Part-Time positions available
• 4- or 5-day work week based on staffing needs
• Paid holidays and school breaks
