Job Opportunity – Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (36 hours per week). Weekend coverage required (4 weekend shifts per 4-week period). Holiday availability required. Float to other units as needed.

Highlights:

• Comprehensive cardiac patient population including post-surgical cardiac and thoracic patients, cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology procedures, and complex cardiovascular conditions
• Patient ratio of 1:6 with varied acuity levels
• State-of-the-art equipment including arterial lines, femoral sheaths, chest tubes, epicardial pacing wires, and cardiac monitoring systems
• EPIC charting system with 24 hours of unit orientation provided
• Contract lengths of 13-26 weeks available
• Opportunity to work with advanced cardiac procedures including TAVR, Mitral Clip, LAAO (Watchman), CABG, valve replacements, and vascular surgeries

Requirements:

• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact license accepted)
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac nursing experience required
• Medical-Surgical/Telemetry/Step-down experience preferred
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate cardiac experience
• Proficiency in EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia management
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start date
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Willingness and ability to serve on Storm Team/Hurricane Team during catastrophic events or disasters
