About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Strategy & Corporate Development Officer to play a pivotal role in shaping the future growth and competitive position of the organization within the dynamic healthcare ecosystem. This executive will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, working closely with the CEO, Board, and other executives to define and execute the company's long-term strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new growth opportunities, leading corporate development activities, and driving strategic initiatives across the enterprise. A strong background in strategy, corporate development, and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, particularly in the areas of technology, services, payer, provider, revenue cycle, or interoperability, is essential. The role demands a visionary leader with a proven track record in influencing executive leaders, a strategic mindset, and the ability to translate strategy into tangible business outcomes. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive leadership experience in relevant fields, with a focus on enterprise strategy, and a background in M&A, partnerships, and investments. The ideal candidate will possess an MBA or equivalent advanced business degree, and demonstrate strong financial, analytical, and business modeling capabilities. Key responsibilities include leading the development of the company's strategic plan, monitoring industry trends, and fostering strategic partnerships to enhance the organization's market position. The role also requires a leader with exceptional communication, storytelling skills, and the ability to build alignment and influence without direct authority. A bias toward action, a commitment to innovation, and a passion for the mission of transforming the healthcare landscape are also critical for this position.
