Sr. Software Product Manager, NGS

Senior Software Product Manager role at IDT (Danaher Life Sciences) managing the Archer NGS product line. Translate customer needs into software requirements and lead product strategy for next-generation sequencing applications in a Boulder, Colorado-based position.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with customers, sales, and stakeholders to understand workflows, market trends, and competitive dynamics
• Partner with product and software teams to define strategy, roadmap priorities, and software requirements aligned with business objectives
• Translate customer needs into requirements, user workflows, and prioritized backlog items using Agile methodologies
• Lead product management for new product introductions including requirements, business cases, and cross-functional execution
• Provide support and optimization for internal software tools to improve workflows and business outcomes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in bioinformatics, computational biology, molecular biology, computer science, engineering, or related field with 7+ years experience
• 3+ years software product management or product ownership in Agile environments
• Experience with NGS, bioinformatics, genomic data analysis, or complex life science software
• Proficiency prioritizing backlogs and writing user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria in tools like Jira
• Track record leading cross-functional initiatives with technical and commercial stakeholders
• Regulated software development experience preferred (in vitro diagnostics or quality systems)
• Assay design and NGS bioinformatics software experience preferred

Compensation: $140,000-$160,000 base; eligible for bonus/incentive pay
