Client Overview Our client is a rapidly growing organization in the construction supplier industry that is hiring an Accounting Assistant . This company has a great work environment and is looking for a candidate with general accounting knowledge and experience. Salary/Hourly Rate $21/hr - $22/hr Position Overview The Accounting Assistant will report to the Senior Accountant and the Accounting team. Our client is ideally looking for someone willing to learn and take on new responsibilities and who is prepared to demonstrate their accounting skills. Those who acquire this role must be communicative, hardworking, and reliable. This Accounting Assistant position is a great opportunity for those looking to learn and build their accounting experience. Responsibilities Of The Accounting Assistant
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable responsibilities.
- Preparing and posting entries.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and projections.
- Assist with processing Invoices.
- General ledger and reconciliations.
- Accounting or finance support roles.
- Experience with ERP systems and applicable Accounting/Financial software.
- 0 - 2 years of experience.
- Team player.
- Analytical.
- Proficient in Excel (pivot tables & v-look ups).
- Excel and accounting software experience.
- General Accounting/ AR/AP background is a big plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field is required.
- Atrium Care Package available, upon eligibility (including healthcare plans, discount programs, and paid time off).
