TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin, 53916!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of RN experience in med/surg & PCU required. License: RN license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required - AHA only. Must-Have: Traveler will be required to pass a telemetry exam prior to assignment start. Description: Days, 12-hour shifts, 06:30 - 19:00, with weekend rotation and every other holiday. Standby call required as needed. There will be occasional ICU/PCU patients on this unit. The RN will be required to care for all acuity types and ratios. The candidate needs a solid PCU foundation for success in this role in a blended unit. Barcode scanning must be 95% to be eligible for an extension. Less than 95% could result in a cancellation. Charge experience is preferred. Bedside Shift Reporting, utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required for all RN units. Travelers are required to float as needed. Minimum experience required is two years of acute care experience within the last three years in the specialty. Pass/Fail testing required with strict passing criteria. A telemetry exam will be required prior to start. The following criteria must be met in two attempts: For the adult exam, 100% identification of lethal rhythms: ventricular fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, asystole. No incorrect answers on questions regarding 3rd degree heart blocks. A passing score of 80% or higher is required. For the pediatric exam, passing score of 80% or higher is required. The traveler will have two attempts to pass. If the traveler fails the second attempt, they must submit a certificate of completion of a cardiac interpretation review course. If the traveler does not pass after three attempts, the assignment will be canceled.
