Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, personal goals, and treatment preferences, ensuring each plan is tailored to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to effectively address mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.

• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, and strategies for effective self-care, empowering them with the knowledge to manage their conditions.

• Monitor client progress continuously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on feedback and outcomes, while providing regular updates to clients to discuss their issues and improvements.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate integrated care, ensuring clients receive holistic treatment that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• Possess a valid and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Massachusetts.
