Named Account Executive, Federal Civilian: DHS/USCG

Job Details: Public Sector: Federal Civilian Agencies Account Executive, DHS/USCG We are seeking proven, quota-carrying sales performers to help us grow our loyal Federal Civilian customer base. Responsibilities include generating new business in existing accounts, as well as playing a key role as you drive strategic, enterprise-wide, analytics, and application platform initiatives in the Departments of Homeland Security. Day to Day Our Named Enterprise Account Executives engage with existing customers and new leads to sell the entire 360 platform. They build positive, trusted relationships with both key team members and c-suite decision makers within their patch, and become naturals at helping customers realize value from their Salesforce investments. You will use your skills to develop opportunities, through both warm leads and whitespace prospecting. Develop key customer stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction at assigned accounts Assist with the development and execution of overall long-term strategy for the account, aligned to customer business objectives Coordinate internal resources including product support, customer success, and sales engineering to meet customer business needs Assist with account planning at assigned accounts, coordinating with other sales resources Define and complete territory / account sales plans for assigned territory and then meet and exceed sales goals (quotas) through prospecting, qualifying, managing and closing sales opportunities. Develop and manage sales pipeline, prospect and assess sales and move a large number of transactions simultaneously through the sales pipeline. Required Experience Prior DHS enterprise IT complex-sales experience 8+ years of enterprise sales experience Must be comfortable hunting new business Work well within a team of various partners within a matrixed environment (Account Executives, Solution Engineers, Sales Leaders, Executives, etc.) Highly driven individual with a focus on execution, strong sense of urgency Leading pursuit teams drawing upon and leading a vast matrix of support personnel to win new business Experience with/understanding Federal Civilian Agencies A mix of business curiosity combined with a technical ability to truly address customer data challenges and earn trust Solution selling mentality: develop a plan and solution, articulate value, and navigate complexities of our customers to drive revenue Accommodations If you need a reasonable accommodation during the application or the recruiting process, please submit a request via the accommodations request form. Compensation and Benefits In the United States, compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, job level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, and benefits. More details about company benefits can be found at SalesforceBenefits.com. The typical base salary range for this position is $141,550 - $189,350 annually. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role in those locations is $155,700 - $208,300 per year.
