Job Title: Manufacturing Technician C Job Code: 45195 Job Location: Londonderry, NH Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours worked- and have every other Friday off Job Description L3Harris is seeking a Manufacturing Technician C to join our team. Responsible for performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework, troubleshooting, and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process. Essential Functions Fully proficient support individual contributor. Works under limited supervision. May be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise. Assignments are moderately difficult requiring some judgment. Works under limited supervision. Less detailed instructions are provided and minimal peer review is required. Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department on matters that involve obtaining or providing information requiring explanation or interpretation to understand and reach agreement. May be a resource to other employees in areas of proficiency. Work may be structured within identified boundaries and procedures. Follows established processes to complete tasks. Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations. Resolves most issues. Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has moderate impact on the overall achievement of results for the team. Work is of moderate scope, typically on larger, task-related activities. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior manufacturing experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior manufacturing experience Preferred Additional Skills Manufacturing experience in the assembly and test of complex electronics, optics and/or electro-mechanical assemblies Experience reading engineering drawings, test plans, and work instructions. Appreciation for building and working hands-on with materials. Experience with laser and/or optics is preferred but not mandatory LabVIEW, CAD, automation experience is preferred but not mandatory Experience with Problem Solving tools and methods Thrives in a fast pace and adaptable environment.
