This position operates production equipment, supports manufacturing processes, performs quality verification activities, maintains workplace organization and housekeeping standards, and utilizes various tools and equipment to support business objectives. Responsibilities may vary by assigned department (Assembly/Sub-Assembly, Machining, or Facilities), but all Operators are expected to support safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement objectives while adhering to company values and compliance requirements.Primary Responsibilities for Assembly & Sub-Assembly OperatorsPerform medium repetitious assembly workRotate between jobs up to two times per shiftMaintain proficiency in assembly line functions and processesVerify part accuracy to specificationsConsistently meet cycle time requirementsMaintain workstation housekeeping, tool protection, gauge protection, and part stockageNotify leadership or quality personnel of defective parts, units, tools, or processesTake direction from Team Leads, Group Lead, and TechsKey contacts include: Quality Inspectors, Maintenance, Engineers and other OperatorsGeneral ResponsibilitiesSafety & 5SMaintain a safe work environment and follow all plant safety requirementsFollow proper PPE requirements and safety proceduresPractice Stop, Call, Wait Authority when necessaryEnsure applicable product and environmental compliance requirements are upheldMaintain workplace organization, storage practices and cleanlinessPerform housekeeping and 5S activitiesProtect tools, gauges, equipment, and materialsOperationsReport to assigned work area by shift startup timeFollow verbal and written work instructionsRead and understand process documentation and process aidsOperate assigned equipment and tools safely and effectivelyMeet productivity and operational performance expectationsSupport continuous improvement initiativesPerform other duties as assignedQualityFollow all quality procedures and work instructionsVerify product conformance to specificationsReport abnormalities, defects, or equipment concernsMaintain quality standards within assigned processesTeamworkDemonstrate behaviors aligned with company values and maintain a respectful workplace environmentWork collaboratively with colleaguesCommunicate operational concerns and process issuesAssist in training new associates when requiredDemonstrate good communication and interpersonal skillsRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum of 3 years' relevant work experience in an industrial manufacturing environmentApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.The Hourly range for this position is $18.50-$21.25.
