GI Technician - Diagnostic Fiberoptics - Full Time 10 Hour Day Shift (Union)

Job Summary The GI Lab Technician, under the guidance of the Registered Nurse, is responsible for the care and safety of patients who come under his/her care. The technician performs scrub assistance duties during operative/GI procedures under the supervision of the physician and the circulating nurse, as well as performing technical duties for assigned areas. Responsibilities Care and safety of patients during GI procedures. Assist with scrub duties during operative/GI procedures. Perform technical duties assigned to specific areas. Ensure proper care, handling, decontamination, and high level disinfection of equipment according to defined procedures. Requirements Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum Experience/Knowledge: GI Lab experience preferred. Required License/Certification: BCLS from the American Heart Association. Compensation The hourly rate range for this position is $28.71 - $37.16.
