Salary: $125,000 per year
We're seeking an experienced, passionate Executive Chef to lead the culinary operation for an exciting restaurant and café concept in the Philadelphia suburbs.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on culinary leader who combines creativity with strong commercial awareness, loves developing teams, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience across multiple dayparts.
The Role
- Lead all kitchen operations, overseeing menu development, food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Create and evolve menus inspired by Mediterranean flavours, seasonal ingredients and contemporary American dining.
- Oversee both restaurant and café operations, ensuring seamless execution across breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
- Recruit, train and develop a high-performing kitchen team, building a positive and accountable culture.
- Manage food costs, labour budgets, purchasing, inventory and supplier relationships.
- Maintain the highest standards of food safety, cleanliness and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with the wider leadership team to drive guest satisfaction, profitability and continued growth.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef or an accomplished Executive Sous Chef ready to take the next step.
- A strong culinary background in Mediterranean, Greek, Levantine or modern American cuisine.
- Experience leading busy restaurant kitchens and managing multiple service periods.
- A creative approach to menu development, with a strong understanding of seasonal ingredients and contemporary dining trends.
- Excellent leadership, communication and team-development skills.
- Strong commercial acumen, including food-cost control, labour management and P&L responsibility.
- A hands-on approach, with the ability to lead from the front during busy services.
