Position Senior Project Management Specialist, Cost Account Management (CAM) Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead (Level 5) to join the Boeing Common Products Group in El Segundo, CA , in direct support of Government and Commercial Spacecraft Products. The CAM IPT Lead will manage daily project execution in one (or more) of the subsystem areas within the Common Products portfolio, coordinate and communicate with all required functions & suppliers from early program bidding through final flight delivery; delivering subsystem hardware to the factory floor on-time & within budget. The portfolio includes Satellite Payload & Platform Subsystems (Propulsion, Structures, Mechanisms, Battery, Wire Harness and Thermal Blankets). Responsibilities Manages cost & schedule while managing the design team’s execution on a payload and/or platform subsystem. Develops program organizational, work structures, top level program and execution plans. Facilitates the resolution of responsible subsystem issues. Supports the program manager in leading program execution by coordinating program metrics. Integrates the implementation of the Program Management Best Practices. Demonstrates high proficiency in all project management areas in accordance with accepted project management standards in the industry (Earned Value Management). Ability to define the project, design and plan the project, and manage the project team. Ability to control and deliver project deliverables, project accounting and appraisal, and optimize the contribution of the people involved. Develops and uses collaborative relationships within and outside the organization to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals. Builds rapport and trust among stakeholders and leverages the organization's dynamics to promote program goals by focusing on a shared vision. Provides detailed in-depth analysis of project culminating with lessons learned and historical reports for incorporation into future project plans. Develops solutions to highly complex problems that require ingenuity and innovation. Qualifications Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Bachelor’s degree 10+ years of experience with program management, project management and/or business operations 10+ years of experience working in ambiguous and fast changing environments Experience with lab and factory operation management Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) Experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) using EVM (earned value management) Experience managing projects and utilizing standard project management tools Additional Details This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active) Relocation offers may be available based on candidate eligibility. Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range for $156,400 - $211,600 Export Controls, Education, Relocation, Security Export Control Requirements: This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.
