Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
ProCare Therapy is seeking dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to support a school district in Downingtown, PA . This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students and make a meaningful impact in their daily educational experience.
Position Details:
- Location: Downingtown, PA
- Student Population: K–12
- Schedule: 32.5–35 hours per week
- Compensation: $23–$25 per hour
- Contract:
- Immediate start for the current school year
- Renewal anticipated for the upcoming school year
Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students
- Assist with daily living activities, mobility, and classroom participation
- Support behavioral and instructional goals under the direction of school staff
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow individualized care or behavior plans
- Reliable, patient, and adaptable
