Schedule: 12-Hour Night Shifts

Experience: Minimum 3 Years of Med-Surg Experience and 1 Year of Pediatric Experience Required

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) Adult/Pediatric for a 16-week contract in Fort Defiance, Arizona. The RN will provide care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients within a 20-bed Medical-Surgical Unit and must be comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric populations.

This position primarily works 12-hour night shifts but requires flexibility for other shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. The RN may occasionally float to other qualified departments, assist with immunization clinics, and attend required staff meetings.

• Provide comprehensive Medical-Surgical nursing care to adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.

• Assess patient conditions, implement appropriate nursing interventions, and monitor clinical progress.

• Deliver safe patient care while managing both adult and pediatric assignments within the Medical-Surgical Unit.

• Float to other departments when qualified and assist with patient care or unit-support responsibilities as needed.

• Participate in required staff meetings and assist with immunization clinics when assigned.

• Minimum 3 Years of Medical-Surgical RN Experience Required.

• Minimum 1 Year of Pediatric Nursing Experience Required; Must Be Comfortable Caring for Both Adult and Pediatric Patients.

• Current, Active RN License Required; Specific State Licensure Requirement Must Be Verified.

• Current American Heart Association BLS/BCLS and ACLS Certifications Required.

• Current PALS Certification Required.

This contract opportunity is suited for an experienced Med-Surg RN comfortable caring for both adult and pediatric patients and working a flexible night-shift schedule with occasional floating and on-call coverage.
