2nd shift Hospital Phlebotomist w/Specimen Processing-Fairhope

Labcorp seeks a hospital phlebotomist for second-shift work at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope, Alabama. The role involves collecting blood specimens using various techniques, processing samples for testing, managing patient data, and providing customer service across multiple age groups.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all patient age groups
• Process and prepare collected specimens for laboratory testing and analysis
• Enter patient information and maintain specimen logs accurately and timely
• Provide exceptional customer service and handle administrative duties as needed
• Travel to additional clinical sites when required

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• Minimum 3 months phlebotomy experience or equivalent
• Ability to pass color blindness test
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
