About the Role
The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President for Human Services Strategy to play a pivotal role in shaping and strengthening the community's strategic response to human services and related priority areas. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at identifying and addressing emerging needs, and will be responsible for translating data, research, and stakeholder input into clear, actionable strategies. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of the community, the ability to build strong partnerships, and a commitment to driving initiatives that have a meaningful and measurable impact on the lives of the most vulnerable. Key responsibilities for the role include leading the development and implementation of community strategies, supporting funding decisions, and leading collaborative initiatives. The ideal candidate will have exceptional emotional intelligence, strong facilitation, and communication skills, and a proven track record of moving ideas from concept to implementation. A background in nonprofit, human services, philanthropy, or related fields is preferred, with at least 5-7 years of leadership experience. The role also involves supervising and mentoring staff, so experience in staff development and a Bachelor's degree are required, with a Master's degree in a related field being a plus. The candidate should be a trusted leader, capable of working with diverse stakeholders, and be dedicated to the mission of improving the lives of those in the community.
