About the Role
The Company is seeking an SVP of Supply Chain Operations to lead the development and expansion of its supply chains across various market segments. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a national network of suppliers, production, and distribution, including both vertically integrated hubs and third-party partners. This role demands a strategic leader with a proven track record in supply chain or operations management, particularly in high-growth scaling. The SVP will be instrumental in bridging the gap between strategy and execution, ensuring operational excellence, and implementing processes to support the company's vision of a modern, efficient, and sustainable wood economy. Key responsibilities for the SVP of Supply Chain Operations include designing and executing fulfillment strategies, providing strategic leadership to inform product strategy, and managing logistics and distribution to optimize for speed and cost. The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years' experience in a similar role, with a preference for those with a background in the wood products or building materials industry. They should be adept at leading cross-functional teams, influencing at all levels of the organization, and embodying a management style that values extreme ownership and a people-first approach. Operational and financial rigor, as well as a strong focus on quality at scale, are essential, with experience in establishing and optimizing QA/QC protocols being a significant advantage.
