Accounting Clerk

Location: Gardena, CA (On-Site) Pay: $25-$28/hr. DOE

Position Overview: A well-established organization in the Gardena area is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting and administrative operations. This role is essential in maintaining accurate financial records, coordinating supply distribution, and ensuring transactions are processed efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process check requests accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with internal procedures
• Perform ACH verifications to ensure accuracy and security of electronic payments
• Order office and program supplies while maintaining appropriate inventory levels
• Receive and verify incoming deliveries; accurately record items received
• Distribute supplies to various departments in a timely and organized manner
• Maintain organized filing systems for accounting documents and records
• Assist with general clerical duties within the accounting department
• Provide administrative and operational support to the accounting team as needed

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Prior experience in an accounting, accounts payable, or administrative role preferred
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and office procedures
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Work Environment:

• On-site position based in Gardena, CA
• Regular interaction with multiple departments to coordinate supply distribution and support accounting operations
