Data Engineer I

Supporting data conversions and hygiene, the full-time Data Engineer I will perform data manipulation, editing, and transformation tasks while working remotely to maintain the accuracy of critical nonprofit datasets. Key responsibilities Run and monitor recurring data update and ingestion jobs Perform basic data editing, formatting, and normalization in SQL-based workflows Assist in data validation, anomaly tracking, and issue escalation Required qualifications Foundational understanding of data formats and transformations Ability to manipulate and edit structured datasets using SQL or spreadsheet tools Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and cleanliness Strong willingness to learn data tools and internal processes Experience in the nonprofit or political campaign space preferred
