This is a unique opportunity for an experienced EEC Lead Teacher who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and supporting an entire school rather than remaining assigned to one classroom every day. You'll work closely with center leadership, provide classroom coverage where needed, support teachers, help maintain required ratios, and assist with the day-to-day needs that keep a busy early childhood center organized and successful.What You'll DoProvide classroom leadership and coverage across Infant, Toddler, and Preschool programs as neededHelp maintain appropriate staffing and teacher-to-child ratios throughout the daySupport classroom transitions, breaks, opening/closing needs, and schedule changesAssist teaching teams with classroom organization, curriculum materials, and daily routinesStep in as a Lead Teacher when classroom coverage is requiredSupport new teachers and help reinforce center procedures and expectationsAssist center leadership with daily operational prioritiesHelp maintain classroom documentation and licensing readinessIdentify needs throughout the center and proactively help resolve themMaintain compliance with Massachusetts EEC licensing, health, and safety requirementsQualificationsMassachusetts EEC Lead Teacher Certification requiredQualifications/certifications across Infant, Toddler, and Preschool age groups strongly preferredProfessional experience in a licensed childcare or preschool setting requiredStrong understanding of Massachusetts EEC regulationsHighly organized, flexible, and comfortable changing priorities throughout the dayStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAble to confidently support both classrooms and center leadershipWhat We Offer$22–$23 per hourFull-time Monday–Friday scheduleOpportunity to expand your experience beyond a traditional classroom roleProfessional development and leadership growthEmployee childcare discountSupportive leadership teamOpportunity for future advancementApply Today If you're an experienced EEC Lead Teacher who enjoys being the person everyone can rely on, this could be an excellent next step.
