Description What You Will Do

• Conduct a range of routine and advanced clinical laboratory proceduresencompassing chemistry, hematology, immunology, among othersfollowing established protocols.
• Evaluate results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and execute preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples for analysis as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and aid in maintaining high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe laboratory environment while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation protocols.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification for the duration of your employment.
