We're looking for a Maintenance Technician to join a local team. This is long-term, steady work in a stable environment with rare layoffs. This is a company where employees build real careers, and our maintenance team includes members with 60+ combined years of tenure.What You'll DoPerform preventative maintenance and work on special projects, potentially including welding and pneumaticsRespond to breakdowns, primarily on machineryStart out focused in one department, with opportunities to grow your skills and responsibilities over timeFollow all safety requirements and relevant operating proceduresReport to the Maintenance SupervisorWhat We're Looking ForMechanical aptitudeBackgrounds in auto mechanics, farming, or general maintenance are all a good fitAbility to lift up to 50 pounds frequentlyAbility to work in extreme heat and coldBilingual candidates are a plusPhysical RequirementsSteel-toed shoes with a metal tarsal guard are required.
