Operations Coordinator

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and highly organized Operations Coordinator for a Pharmaceutical Manufacturer in Lexington, Ky. You will provide hands-on support on the manufacturing floor while effectively communicating with managers regarding production status, priorities, and operational needs. This role is a 50/50 split of your time being in a office and on the production floor.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-

Perform walk-through's and assist with completion of items to maintain facility in an audit ready state using 6S principles.
Support implementation of process improvements that enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and overall manufacturing performance.
Daily and weekly coordination of activities to ensure production schedule is met.
Assist with tracking production metrics, identifying trends, and supporting follow-up actions to improve performance.
Assist with Manufacturing operations as needed
Perform additional projects, operational support tasks, and other duties as assigned by management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE-

B.S. or A.S from a college or university or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment; SAP experience is a plus but not required.
