Position Overview

The Diamond Hearts Physical Therapy Clinic is seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Physical Therapist to join our team in Leesburg, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to assess their physical conditions thoroughly by conducting detailed evaluations and discussing their symptoms and medical history.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and create personalized treatment plans that address each patient's unique requirements and goals.
• Educate patients on therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand and can perform prescribed exercises correctly to facilitate their recovery.
• Administer therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, stimulation, and massage to promote healing and alleviate pain.
• Assist patients in using mobility aids like wheelchairs and walkers, ensuring their safety and confidence as they navigate their rehabilitation process.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient progress and treatment outcomes to track rehabilitation effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with patients and their families regarding in-home treatment options, providing them with actionable advice and exercises that support ongoing recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, athletic injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain disorders. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution is required.
