Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health needs through interviews and psychological evaluations.

• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices, ensuring clear communication of goals and progress with clients.

• Provide ongoing individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices.

• Facilitate referrals to other professionals such as psychiatrists or social service agencies to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

• Document all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately using our electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain high standards of confidentiality and best practices.

• Participate in supervision and training sessions to stay informed about the latest developments in mental health therapy and enhance your clinical skills.

• Maintain ethical standards and professional boundaries in all client interactions to foster a trusting therapeutic environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a diverse client base, ranging from adolescents to adults, who are experiencing a variety of mental health challenges. Some clients may be grappling with substance abuse, while others may require support for anxiety, depression, or eating disorders. It's essential to approach each client with cultural sensitivity and an understanding of their unique life situations to provide the most effective support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid Washington state license, including LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW.

• A minimum of four years of professional experience in a mental health counseling setting.

• Thorough knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and a commitment to cultural competence in therapy.

• Experience in both individual therapy and group therapy sessions with a track record of positive client outcomes.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and crisis intervention skills.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to track client progress and manage administrative tasks.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
