We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support our Accounting Department with invoice processing, customer billing, remittance processing, and other accounting transactions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with accounting support experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You'll Do
- Process and review invoices, remittances, customer payments, and other accounting transactions.
- Support customer billing and payment activities with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting-related information.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Collaborate with team members and business partners to ensure timely and efficient processing.
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and administrative accounting functions.
- Utilize accounting and business systems, including PeopleSoft, Brainware/OnBase, and ServiceNow.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with accounting transactional data, invoice processing, billing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related accounting functions.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with PeopleSoft, Brainware/OnBase, and/or ServiceNow.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
